The past two days were long and hard, but were completely fantastic. I’m really honored and blessed to be able to work with such passionate and wonderful people. I can’t wait to see the finished photos, and to work with these amazing people again. Also… we took this photo while Clay was driving the gator…. Don’t ask me how we all fit let alone survived. Haha!
You thought your grandma was cool…but she’s not wearing cardboard armor while swinging around a kitchen knife cool…So my 3D design project is finally done. The shoulder pieces turned out freaking great…the chest piece however, can go burn. Anyway bottom line my grandma is the best. Period.
Sorry guys I haven’t really been active lately, but I just had to post about how amazing today was. I mean I will literally be surprised if today can get any better. First off, I had an amazing time working with Clay and Daisy, I was able to meet crazy talented people, I got a fancy free latte, came home to chocolate chip pancakes, and was just hired for a pin up shoot, and it’s only 5:15. Today is a very good day….
Oh yeah did I mention I’m one of Clay Cook’s new 2014 intern? Yeah… that happened. :P
Now I know it’s bad to have favorites, but I have to say that this logo is one of my top favorites. Now let me tell you Cassi was one of the heroes that saved the shoot from going into utter chaos. She showed up early and stepped up with hair and make up when the hired help didn’t show. She stuck with me from the early hours of the morning to late late at night, and worked her butt off every minute. Not to mention she also kept me sane during the day. Cassi was also the last model to be photographed, and she did an amazing job after a long and exhausting day. I have major respect for her and I’m honored to call her my friend. So with out further ado here is Cassandra Waddell modeling as the Detroit Derby Girls Logo.
